The adventure continues. Week 2 of our Street Food World Tour takes campers to four more countries, four more incredible dishes and four more days of building real skills in the kitchen with Red Seal Chefs Jody and Kirstie.
This week campers travel from the Middle East to Malaysia, Jamaica and Japan, tackling dishes that are bold, exciting and deeply satisfying to make from scratch. Every day brings a new culture, a new set of techniques and another reason to feel proud of what they have created. By the end of the week, campers will have cooked eight dishes from eight different countries and have the confidence to show off in the kitchen for years to come.
Designed for tweens aged 11 to 16, or younger kids who want to cook alongside a parent.
Recipes covered:
Day 1: Doner Kebab: The iconic Middle Eastern street food, made properly at home with all the right toppings and sauces.
Day 2: Coconut Curry Dumplings: A fragrant coconut curry paired with tender dumplings, a flavour packed introduction to Southeast Asian cooking.
Day 3: Jamaican Patties: A beloved street food classic, bold Jamaican spiced beef patties alongside crowd pleasing pizza pockets.
Day 4: Japanese Burger: Our take on the classic burger, with the creative twists and attention to detail that Japanese street food is famous for.
