Translating to "bone with a hole", Osso Buco refers to the marrow bone at the center of the dish's signature cut of meat, a cross-cut veal shank, which has a hollow bone filled with rich, flavourful marrow.

This beloved Italian dish, is traditionally topped with gremolata, a zesty mixture of lemon zest, garlic, and parsley and served with risotto alla Milanese. 

The marrow is considered a delicacy and is often scooped out with a small spoon or spread on bread as a luxurious treat.  Let's make this hearty yet elegant meal together!
