This is not a cooking class. This is your kitchen, transformed.
Imagine your closest friends gathered in your kitchen. Two professiona Red Seal Chefs arrive with everything, fresh ingredients, professional equipment, and twenty years of culinary expertise. For the next two hours, you cook together. You learn why food works, not just how to follow a recipe. Then you sit down and eat what you made.

Italian Dinner
Fresh homemade pasta with authentic Bolognese. Start the night with revolutionary bruschetta and finish with an Antipasto Salad dressed in our Olive-Oregano Vinaigrette. This is the one that changes how you think about pasta forever.
Our Favourite Mexican
Tacos al Pastor with homemade corn tortillas and all the fixings, Kick things off with fresh seafood ceviche and hand-fried tortilla chips. From masa to marinated pork, this s a Mexican cooking the way it is meant to be made.
Summer BBQ
Proscuitto-wrapped Chicken Spiedini with Burrata and Panzanella Salad, dressed in a bright Lemon-Pesto Vinaigrette. Served with our game-cahging Tzatziki. This evening opens with flambeed Halloumi, Yes! There is fire.
Sushi at Home
Master three types of maki rolls from start to finish. Begin the evening with our famous Japanese Pork Gyoza with Ginger-Scallion Sauce. Sushi grade fish, proper techniques, and zero intimidation.
Indian Feast
Chicken Biryani built on freshly made spice blends, rounded out with Chana Masala and Cucumber Raita. Start with freshly fried Pakoras. This is the class that proves spice in not heat, it is layered, intentional flavour.

Leave the decision up to the Chefs! We will put together a delicious menu of our current favourites. Something to learn and lots to enjoy!

$125 to $150 per person, based on menu and group size. Minimum 8 guests. Maximum 16 guests.

Jody O'Malley & Kirstie Herbstreit are both Red Seal certified chefs and co-owners of The Culinary Studio in Waterloo, Ontario. For fifteen years they have been teaching people how to cook with confidence, by explaining the science behind the food, not just the steps in a recipe.
The Culinary Studio at Home brings that same philosphy to your kitchen. Expect to laugh, learn and to be guinely impressed by what you make.
FAQ
Do I need a professional kitchen?
Not at all. A functioning home kitchen with a stove, oven, and reasonable counter space is everything we need. We bring the rest.
What do I need to provide?
A clean kitchen, a cleared refrigerator for our ingredients, serving dishes and tableware for the meal, and parking for one vehicle. That is it.
Can you accommodate allergies & dietary restrictions?
Yes. We ask all clients to complete a Pre-Event Questionnaire no later than 14 days before the event so we can prepare accordingly. Please disclose all allergies and restrictions at that time.
How far in advance should I book?
Dates are limited this summer and we expect them to fill quickly. We recommend reaching out at least 3 to 4 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date.
Do you travel outside of Kitchener- Waterloo?
Yes. A travel fee applies for events outside the KW area. We are happy to discuss details when you reach out.
